Every Futuro Futuro range hood is designed for dual-mode installation - either ducted (exhausting outside, which we always recommend for peak performance) or ductless (recirculating).
Can't vent to the outside, thanks to a high-rise, condo, or co-op restriction? No sweat. Our ductless setup uses a carbon filter to clean cooking odors and return fresh air to your kitchen.
This specialized carbon filter for the 40″ Magnolia Island Range Hood is built to last up to three years. Instead of frequent replacements, simply "reactivate" the filter once a year by heating it in your oven at 350°F for 60 minutes. After two recharge cycles (approx. 3 years), we recommend installing a fresh filter.
PLEASE NOTE: This filter is NOT compatible with any other range hood model. It will fit only the 40″ Magnolia Island model (IS40MAGNOLIA).
